Understanding your vehicle's Steering gear and linkage and the importance of its maintenance
The steering gear and linkage may include the steering rack, gears, arms and sockets which point your vehicle's wheels in the direction in which you are steering. Over time, the connections could become worn or loose, and components could become damaged. Inspect your steering gear and linkage components at the required intervals and repair as needed.
